Review:

Washington residents eagerly await the annual Library of Congress National Book Festival which is held each year in August at the National Convention Center. 2019 will mark the 19th anniversary of the festival which offers exciting events for book lovers of all ages. A key theme of the festival is to actively encourage young readers to spend more time reading (in 2018 the festival line-up included no less than 40 authors who write exclusively for children and young adults) and the Wells Fargo reading area offers half-hourly readings, audio book zones and children’s activities. Adults can enjoy meeting prominent local and international authors, attending readings, debates and writing workshops.
