Located between San Jose and Morgan Hill, the Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve gives an authentic rural wilderness experience while being just 20 miles away from downtown San Jose. Visitors are welcome to explore the stunning surrounding or get on the multi-use trail for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. The Arrowhead Loop Train is over four miles long and will take you to the ridgetop where you will be able to see picturesque views of Mount Umunhum, Mount Hamilton, and Coyote Valley in its entirety. Some of their amenities include space for horse trailers, picnic tables, restrooms, and a paved parking lot.
