Hailed as Utah's first national park, Zion National Park is one of the most picturesque places in the western United States. The park sees millions of visitors each year. People come from all over the world to experience Zion's challenging hikes, explore its deep canyons, and learn about the interesting plant and animal life in the region. There are campsites in the park for overnight stays.
At the Zion Nature Center, young visitors can learn all about the fascinating history of the park through hands-on activities, pictures, books and games. Zion National Park also has an active junior ranger program for children and families.
