Dixie National Forest is located near Cedar City, Utah. This popular recreational area spans more than 2 million acres from the Great Basin to the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy all sorts of activities here, but the most popular past times include hiking, camping, biking, hunting, horseback riding, and skiing.

With hundreds of miles of forest roads, visitors will find ample photography opportunities throughout Dixie National Forest. Most activities in the park are unregulated, but permits are required for wood cutting, mushroom picking, rock collecting, filming/videography, and large group events. Camping is free throughout the park.
