The Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum is perfect for couples who have been enchanted by the sea and beautiful Georgia coastline. The museum hosts elegant outdoor, covered weddings in the evenings only with no indoor space available. The total garden space covers two acres with a maximum wedding guest capacity of 360 guests in the Assembly Room or 200 in the Scarborough Garden. A Bridal suite with a private bathroom, including a shower, is available. Your wedding guests will also get to tour the museum for 45 minutes during your event. Ships of the Sea has a preferred vendor list, and all vendors must be approved by the Museum in advance. Alcohol packages are available, but there is no in-house catering.
