North Peninsula State Park consists of nearly three miles of unspoiled, beautiful beach near Flagler Beach, Florida. Guests can try their luck at surf fishing or simply relax with a swim in the refreshing ocean water. From May to September, green, loggerhead, and occasionally leatherback turtles journey to the state park’s shores to nest. Smith Creek Landing provides access for visitors to fish or crab along the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway. There are also opportunities for hiking along the Coastal Strand Trail and biking along the Ormond Scenic Loop as well. The park also features a bicycle maintenance station.
