Review:

Pensacola Beach will take your breath away. The beaches are a gleaming white, wide, and uncrowded, contrasting sharply with the emerald green waters of the Atlantic. It is located on a barrier island of Santa Rosa just across the water from Pensacola on the mainland.

The beauty of the island is mesmerizing, and it is possible to spend hours, or even days, just lying on the sand watching the horizon and feeling all your worries float away.

Kids splash in the water, stroll along the sand collecting colorful shells, or search for hatching turtle eggs. Lifeguards are on duty during the season at the main Pensacola beach on the Gulf of Mexico as well as on Quietwater Beach on Santa Rosa Sound. Go fishing on the iconic Pensacola pier, learn parasailing, surfing, or diving, go snorkeling, try stand up paddle boarding, or go boating.

The water is so beautiful that you might leave it only to eat in one of the quaint island restaurants.
