Review:

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum honors the history of the African-American community in Delray Beach and Palm Beach County, Florida. The late Solomon David Spady’s former residence houses the museum. Spady rose to prominence as a local educator and community leader from 1922 to 1957. As a student of George Washington Carver (Booker T. Washington), Spady emphasized the importance of educating children. The non-profit organization keeps that dream alive by sponsoring community events, historical tours, and youth empowerment programs. The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum sits at 170 NW Fifth Avenue in the historical West Settlers District of Delray.
