Located on the A. Hugh Adams Central Campus of Broward College, the Buehler Planetarium and Observatory is a 40-foot in diameter, domed theater and public planetarium that provides telescope observation nights and day and night-themed planet and star shows. Opened in 1965, the planetarium features a Zeiss M 1015 projector and a Definiti full-dome video system, producing interesting sky shows and presentations. Visitors can also spend an evening gazing at the majestic night sky through a collection of high-tech telescopes, seeing everything from the shining orbs of planets to bright moons and shooting stars. Admission to the Buehler Planetarium and Observatory on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings is free.
