Bluefield Estate Winery, Gainesville boasts over an acre of blueberry plants and a similar size vineyard producing Muscadine grapes. The winery is family owned and operated by an energetic young couple who have turned their kitchen-based wine-making hobby into a fully-fledged commercial winery. Bluefield Estate produces eleven different wines, including their anti-oxidant-rich dry, semi-sweet and sweet blueberry wine varieties. Located in the Florida town of Defuniak Springs, the Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery welcomes visitors to come and taste their locally-produced range of grape and fruit wines. The grapes used in the production process are locally raised just twelve miles north of Defuniak on a large 50-acre vineyard. There is an emphasis on raising Muscadine varietals which are native to the area, but the winery also produces Chardonnay and Merlot from Californian grapes. You are welcome to drop in and enjoy a free tasting any day of the week between 9am and 4.30pm. If you visit during harvest time you can watch the production process from the tasting room.

All the grapes are grown in the on-site vineyards and the winery currently produces a small but special range of four wines, crafted in the Italian tradition. You are welcome to stop by the winery any day from Wednesday to Sunday for a standard tour of the vineyards and the winery. Since 1997 the Shook family winery has been producing some of the best fruit wines in the state. The Florida Orange Groves Winery currently produces a whopping 43 different wines, sparking wines and ports using only one hundred percent pure fruit juice (as opposed to using fruit concentrates blended with grape wine). The winery is at the forefront of the fruit wine industry in Florida and you will find a large range of wines and innovative related products for sale at their St. Petersburg winery shop. Visitors are welcome to stop by for a tour and tasting (no reservations required) any day of the week. A few of their most popular wines include Mango Mamma, Hurricane Class 5 and Key Limen.
