The name of the winery derives from the blueberries which are used to make most of their signature blueberry wines. 2. Aspirations Winery, Clearwater
Located in the warm and sunny Florida town of Clearwater, Aspirations Winery has been producing a range of delicious, low-sulphite wines for the last ten years. The winery specializes in hand-crafting a range of innovative fruit-infused wines, and also produces a selection of red, white and dessert wines using top-quality grapes accessed from all over the country. 3. Bluefield Estate Winery, Gainesville
Bluefield Estate Winery, Gainesville boasts over an acre of blueberry plants and a similar size vineyard producing Muscadine grapes. The winery is family owned and operated by an energetic young couple who have turned their kitchen-based wine-making hobby into a fully-fledged commercial winery. Visitors are invited to come and sample their range of grape, blueberry and other fruit-infused wines at their winery tasting room which is open from Thursday to Sunday. Bluefield Estate produces eleven different wines, including their anti-oxidant-rich dry, semi-sweet and sweet blueberry wine varieties. Other taste sensations you can try include their Blackberry Bliss (Merlot and blackberry infusion) and their Peachy Perfection, the perfect marriage of peaches and Chardonnay.

4. Bunker Hill Vineyard and Winery, Bunker Hill
Located in the heart of Manatee County, the Bunker Hill Vineyard and Winery produces a limited quantity of fine ‘small-batch’ wines made exclusively from grapes grown in their own on-site vineyard. The success of the winery is totally dependent on their old-growth ancient Muscadine vines which are native to Florida and which produce an exceptional and unique grape with excellent wine potential. You can learn all about this ancient cultivar and the wine that it produces when you join a Wine Tasting and Tour, held at the winery from Thursdays to Mondays. To enhance your tasting experience you can order a platter of nibbles to accompany your wine.

5. Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery, Defuniak Springs
Located in the Florida town of Defuniak Springs, the Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery welcomes visitors to come and taste their locally-produced range of grape and fruit wines. The grapes used in the production process are locally raised just twelve miles north of Defuniak on a large 50-acre vineyard. There is an emphasis on raising Muscadine varietals which are native to the area, but the winery also produces Chardonnay and Merlot from Californian grapes. You are welcome to drop in and enjoy a free tasting any day of the week between 9am and 4.30pm. If you visit during harvest time you can watch the production process from the tasting room.

6. Emerald Coast Wine Cellars, Miramar Beach
The next time you visit Miramar Beach you should make a point of visiting the Emerald Coast Wine Cellars for a free tour and wine tasting. The cellars showcase the wines produced by Chautauqua Vineyards and Winery, which is based in Defuniak Springs. Most of the wines produced feature native Muscadine varietals which are home-grown just outside Defuniak Springs. Besides introducing your palate to the Chautauqua wine range, the Emerald Coast Cellars stock a range of delicious wine-based gourmet food products as well as a great selection of wine-related gifts including recipe books, wine-glasses, luxury lotions, fragrances, candles and much more.

7. Fiorelli Winery, Bradenton
At Fiorelli Winery, Bradenton a little Italian inspiration and a lot of lovingly nurtured vines combine to provide the beautiful grapes from which Fiorelli wines are produced. All the grapes are grown in the on-site vineyards and the winery currently produces a small but special range of four wines, crafted in the Italian tradition. You are welcome to stop by the winery any day from Wednesday to Sunday for a standard tour of the vineyards and the winery. If you would like to complete your Fiorelli experience with a light lunch to enjoy alongside your wine you are requested to order at least two days in advance using their on-line booking form.

8. Flagler Beachfront Winery, Flagler Beach
Visiting a winery with a tasting room overlooking the ocean is an unusual delight which you can enjoy the next time you are in the vicinity of Flagler Beach. The Flagler Beachfront Winery ’s resident winemaker is Ken Tarsitano, who learned the basics of winemaking in the family basement of his grandfather. Ken has come a long way since those days and is now an accomplished and admired regional winemaker. Ken accesses his grapes from all over the country and the list of varietals produced includes Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc and a beautifully balanced red blend called Corduroy. While you sip your favorite wines you can enjoy delicious Italian small plates or boards on the outdoor ocean-front deck.

9. Florida Orange Groves Winery, St. Petersburg
Since 1997 the Shook family winery has been producing some of the best fruit wines in the state. The Florida Orange Groves Winery currently produces a whopping 43 different wines, sparking wines and ports using only one hundred percent pure fruit juice (as opposed to using fruit concentrates blended with grape wine). The winery is at the forefront of the fruit wine industry in Florida and you will find a large range of wines and innovative related products for sale at their St. Petersburg winery shop. Visitors are welcome to stop by for a tour and tasting (no reservations required) any day of the week. A few of their most popular wines include Mango Mamma, Hurricane Class 5 and Key Limen.
