Nelson's Resort, a traditional North Woods resort, has been welcoming visitors to Crane Lake for 84 years. Most are attracted by the promise of excellent fishing, while others come to enjoy the solitude and relaxation. Nelson’s Resort has 27 individual log cabins spread out along both sides of the swimming beach.
Some of the cabins have full kitchens, while others are not self-catering, in which case meals can be taken at the lodge. In addition to swimming, children will enjoy the canoes, kayaks, hiking trails, playground, and toasting marshmallows at the nightly bonfires. There is a games room for rainy days and a golf course just 10 minutes away.
