What started as a private four-bedroom home built in 1931, quickly turned into a legendary desert lodge that went on to evolve into a premier destination for the Hollywood greats and a discrete getaway for the movie stars filming nearby. The lodge’s quaint rooms have seen John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Newman, and many others.

You can stay in these same rooms, a bit updated and modernized but with the same allure. You can only wish that the walls could talk.

The charming pueblo-style dwelling now has 100 luxurious rooms that range from the historic private Casitas to modern Deluxe rooms with Southwest décor, surrounded by swimming pools and a cactus garden.
