Review:

Often referred to as one of the world’s greatest train journeys, the Jacobite Express takes visitors on an 84-mile round trip adventure past some of the most impressive scenic extremes. It begins close to Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain; visits Arisaig, the country’s most western mainland rail station; and passes the Loch Morar, Britain’s deepest freshwater loch. From there it passes the River Morar, the country’s shortest river, before finally reaching Loch Nevis, Europe’s deepest seawater loch. The train also stops at Fort William, Glenfinnan, and Arisaig before reaching the final destination of Mallaig. The dramatic and constantly changing scenery coupled with the curvy and winding railway make this a great excursion for kids.
