Located on Civic Center Drive, Charleston Civic Center is a city complex that consists of three buildings: the Charleston Convention Center, also known as the Grand Hall, the Civic Center Coliseum, and the Little Theater.

When it was completed in 1959, it featured a 6,000-seat arena and the 750-seat Little Theater, and it underwent many renovations and expansions over the ensuing years. Today, the Coliseum has a seating capacity of 13,500 people and is connected to the Convention Center by a two level 32,000 square foot entrance lobby.

The center hosts many events and fairs throughout the year; these include arts and crafts fairs, car shows, culinary events, and many more.
