Located on Locust Street next to the Meredith Corporation, the Better Homes and Gardens Test Garde is a display garden, outdoor photography studio, and test garden for the Better Homes and Gardens magazine and web site. Visitors can view the 22 different garden spaces, including the Path Garden with its perennials and flagstone path, the Prairie Garden that contains large perennials like goldenrod, and the Shade Garden, a woodland garden with hostas and other ground plants.
The garden spaces are frequently replanted for visitors’ enjoyment. The garden can be rented for special events such as corporate meetings.
