Review & FAQ:

One of the many islands in Stockholm, Skeppsholmen is famous for being a strategic military base at the entrance to the Baltic Sea and was home to several military buildings. Today, many of the military buildings have been replaced by museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Östasiatiska Muséet (East-Asian Museum), the Architectural Museum, and the Teater Galeasen.

The island also plays host to the annual Stockholm Jaxx Festival every year, which attracts thousands of music lovers. Skeppsholmen is connected to Blasieholmen and Kastellholmen by bridges and can also be accessed by foot, bus, or boat.
