Located at Michigan State University, the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University is a contemporary museum and engaged public institution dedicated to exploring and exhibiting significant works of art from all over the world. The historic collection of the museum consists of works ranging from Roman and Greek periods to the Renaissance era Modern art. Designed by Zaha Hadid, a Pritzker Prize-winning architect, the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum features a rather striking facade of glass and pleated stainless steel. With the exception of some special events, admission to the art museum is usually free for the general public.
