Lums Pond State Park is a 1,790-acre state park near Bear in New Castle County that is set around Lums Pond on St. Georges Creek and offers an array of recreational facilities from picnicking and camping to fishing and horseback riding. The campground offers sites for tents, RVs, and trailers, as well as equestrian campsites, all of which have full water, electrical, and sewerage hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. Park facilities include ten miles of hiking trails, equestrian campsites, a nature center, a Go Ape! Zipline treetop adventure course, an equestrian center, boat ramps, and rentals.
