Jennings Beach is a really popular spot for young people to come and hang out. It's home to the town's skate park, which is a big hit with teenagers in particular, but people of all ages can have fun here.
The park is around 27 acres in size and comes with a very large and sandy expanse for sunbathing, picnics, beachcombing, and other enjoyable activities.
You can also take a stroll around the South Benson Boat Marina and take young children to the Henry Rowland Memorial Playground. This is one of the best spots in Connecticut to enjoy the Independence Day fireworks and has a lively atmosphere at weekends and on special occasions. Not only that, but dogs are allowed on Jennings Beach in the fall and winter months too. Jennings BeachMap
