In addition to all these inner city historic and heritage locations, Fairfield is also situated on one of the best parts of the New England coastline.

3.South Pine Creek Beach
South Pine Creek Beach is the smallest beach in Fairfield, but this beach proves that size really doesn't matter. It may be small, but it has so much to offer and is even equipped with basic amenities like clean restrooms. The sand here is soft and the small size of the beach helps to give it a secluded, intimate sort of vibe that will definitely appeal to solo travelers or couples looking for a romantic spot to spend some time together.
Not far from Southport Harbor, Sasco Beach is one of the simpler and calmer beaches in Fairfield. The likes of Penfield and Jennings Beach can sometimes get quite busy, but Sasco Beach is almost always tranquil and relaxing, with barely any tourists ever taking the time to visit this pretty little beach. It's fully free and open to the public, just like the other beaches on this list, and has some good local amenities. Sasco Beach is also able to provide some of the nicest views anywhere in Fairfield, making it a very romantic spot for couples to stroll around as the sun goes down.
