The Orvis Hot Springs features seven different spring-fed pools set in the rock San Juan Mountains in Ridgway.
These pools range in temperature from 98 degrees Fahrenheit to the appropriately named and very steamy Lobster Pot that can reach temperatures of 114 degrees Fahrenheit.
The hot springs facility’s unique “gravel-bottom pond” is known for its massaging waterfalls and views of Mount Sneffels.
For visitors who prefer to stay at the Orvis Hot Springs longer, there are both beautifully appointed guest rooms and a campground available.
Overnight guests are given 24-hour access to the property’s hot springs.
