Tiny and unassuming with only three tables inside and a couple of picnic benches on the patio outside, Lauer-Krauts is a diner/drive-in/eatery that sells a delicious German/Russian delicacy called Krautburger, and not much else. These delicious pastries filled with burger meat, cabbage, onions, and sauerkraut are addictive. They are freshly made daily and fly out of the shop as soon as they are made. Family-owned by Germans from Russia, Lauer-Krauts has been around to introduce this traditional pastry to Brighton since 2006. You might want to try one of their hot, rich soups or fabulous European desserts to go with your Krautburger.
