If you’re thinking about exploring Colorado’s wine country, I highly recommend it—I’ve sipped my way through some beautiful spots out here. From sun-drenched vineyards to tasting rooms with mountain views, you’ll find plenty of local flavor and laid-back charm. I’ve found it’s the kind of trip where you can slow down, savor each sip, and really take in the scenery.
Highlights:
- You’ve got to sample the award-winning blends at Carboy Winery. I’ve visited both the Palisade and Denver locations, and each one brings its own vibe—you’ll love the variety.
- If you want vineyard views, I suggest touring Two Rivers Winery in Grand Junction. I stood there with a glass of red, watching the river roll by—it’s a moment I always remember.
- When you’re ready to kick back, relax at Snowy Peaks Winery in Estes Park. I’ve enjoyed wine flights and live music there more than once—it’s a cozy, fun stop with great local energy.
- To taste something bold, you should try the reds and crisp whites at BookCliff Vineyards in Boulder. I’ve brought friends there, and we all left with bottles in hand—it’s that good.
- If you’re up for a scenic drive, explore the Colorado Wine Country Trail through the Grand Valley AVA. I’ve done the route myself—it’s full of gorgeous views, friendly tasting rooms, and unforgettable pours.
