Located at the eastern end of St. Thomas, in a heavily populated area at the eastern outskirts of Red Hook, Vessup Beach is a narrow bay with good connections to the capital city, which makes it a convenient destination for beach-goers, but also makes it very popular and often crowded. The narrow bay provides protection from the surf, making the water always calm and warm, perfect for families with kids. Clear water with great visibility means great snorkeling, and the soft white sand is great for stretching out under the sun and for taking long strolls along the water. Public bathrooms are available.
