Review:
Nestled on the southeastern shore of Cozumel Island, Chen Rio Beach is a wild and wonderful white-sand beach facing the beautiful Caribbean Sea. This section of beach can only be accessed by car or bike (no public transport) which means that it is often much quieter than other Cozumel beaches. Be prepared for large waves at this beach, which may restrict swimming. However, there are many protected rocky pools with shallow azure waters where you can cool off after sunbathing. Umbrella rentals are available and there are a few beach-side restaurants or beach clubs where you can buy food and drinks.
