Review:
The Palm Springs Air Museum is an educational institution located on North Gene Autry Trail on the northeast side of the Palm Springs International Airport. The museum’s goal is to demonstrate the role of World War II warplanes and the pilots and related personnel who helped win the war.
The museum contains one of the world’s largest collections of World War II combat aircrafts as well as aviation artwork, artifacts, and library resources. There are three exhibit hangars, a gift shop, a theater, and an education center. The museum is frequently rented out for public events such as balls and private parties. Group tours and school tours are also available. The museum is open every day.
