The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert is dedicated to preserving, conserving, and interpreting the desert and all its various plants and animal life.

Since its foundation in 1970, the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens has achieved several conservation goals and there is a huge variety of attractions.

The permanent exhibits include Butterflies, Guardians of the Living Desert, North America, Africa, Village WaTuTu, the Gecko Gulch, the Eagle Canyon, Tennity Wildlife Hospital & Conservation, and the Endangered Species Carousel.

Visitors can make use of different tours, specials, and promotions to be part of the wildlife conservation club.
