Review:
Located in Redding, California, the Turtle Bay Exploration Park is a 300-acre complex consisting of museums and natural spaces. Next to the Sacramento River, it features the magnificent Sundial Bridge which, as its name indicates, is one of the largest sundials in the world and is also a bridge.
There is a museum containing two exhibition galleries and permanent interactive experiences about local and regional history that is specially connected to Native American culture. Other features include the McConnell Arboretum and botanical gardens, which comprise 20 acres of Mediterranean climate gardens, a medicinal garden, and a children’s garden, extending 200 acres in total along the Sacramento River Trail.
