Hester Park is a tiny public park facility located adjacent to the facilities of San José's Rosicrucian Museum and Rose Garden and Library. The hidden-away park is home to two children's playgrounds divided by age group, which feature swings, several climbing structures, and a climbing wall. Day-use picnic sites at the park allow families to bring lunches and relax together, available on a first come, first served basis. Ample shade is offered throughout the park, keeping it cool and out of direct sunlight for young ones to play. A soccer field at the park is available for use by permit. Visitors should note that no restrooms are offered at the park and should plan accordingly when visiting with children.
