Dead Cat Alley is one of Woodland’s most unique places. As you walk through the neighborhood, you’ll find at least thirteen cats hanging around at the top of the surrounding buildings. This was a part of the Woodland Art Center’s Nine Lives Project and is the work of local artist Gary Dinnen. The walk is less than a quarter-mile long and will take you through the orange tabby cat near Chinatown and other local businesses and establishments. Going on an adventure to spot all of the cats can be a really fun and unique thing to do while also giving you an opportunity to meet the people and visit the places that really give Woodland its charm.
