Review:
The Nelder Grove of Giant Sequoia is made up of more than 1,500 acres of the Sierra National Forest in Oakhurst, California. There are around 100 mature sequoia trees mixed in a forest of cedar, fir, and pine. The giant sequoias grow in four different groups: Sierra Beauty, Nelder Basin, Nelder Ridge, and California Creek. The Nelder Grove of Giant Sequoia is also a natural habitat for a variety of wildlife, such as flying squirrels, gray squirrels, mule deer, and black bear. As for birds, spotted owls, woodpeckers, hawks, sparrows, juncos, and tanagers also call the grove home.
