Point Isabel is a lovely 23-acre park in Richmond that offers some of the area’s most spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Brooks Island, as well as Marin County. It is a haven for dog lovers as the park allows off-leash visits provided dogs are under the voice control of their respective fur parents and sees over a million visitors annually. The park has a ton of attractions to enjoy including the San Francisco Bay Water Trail trailhead, the Point Isabel Regional Shoreline, the Mudpuppy’s Tub and Scrub, and the welcoming Sit and Stay Café. Point Isabel is particularly enjoyable during wildflower season, with wildflower photo guides for those who want to enjoy flora viewing.
