Set in the gardens of Queen Elizabeth Park in the city of Hamilton, the Bermuda Historical Society Museum presents the history of the island through an outstanding collection of significant historical documents, original collections, and artifacts of the isle. Other exhibits include Bermudian treasures, coins, silver and gold furniture, a great silver collection, rare “hog” money, a Wedgwood vase, and an 1830 Waterford crystal chandelier.
The museum is also home to a model of a ship, the Sea Venture, as well as exhibits of artifacts from the Boer War, and it also houses the Bermuda National Library.
