Lake Scadar is so beautiful it was recently nominated for UNESCO World Heritage status. Located near the international border separating Montenegro from Albania, Lake Scadar attracts locals from both countries but isn't too well-known with tourists just yet, so it's a nice place to come if you're looking for an authentic slice of Montenegrin culture with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The lake is a really impressive sight to behold and there are some nice coastal trails to follow.
