Despite the name of this beach, El Silencio isn't exactly a silent spot. It's actually quite a popular beach just outside of Lima and attracts a lot of tourists and locals when the sun starts to shine and the temperature starts to rise. Even the water is pretty noisy here, with some big waves and choppy conditions that make swimming very difficult. You might not be able to enjoy the water here, but the sands are soft and the views are gorgeous.
