There are lots of gorgeous beaches to be found all along Peru’s extensive coastline, but some of South America’s very best beaches can be found just short distances away from Lima. The Peruvian capital is a must-visit city for any South American traveler, rich with culture, history, and heritage. You can spend a full day roaming the streets of Lima and admiring the various monuments, museums, buildings, and more, before heading down to the coastline and sitting on the sand, looking out onto the majestic Pacific Ocean.
