Built sometime between 1903 and 1904, the Old Faithful Inn isn’t just a relaxing place to stay, it’s also an irreplaceable part of the park’s history. It now carries the distinction of being a national historic landmark and remains to be the most popular and most requested accommodation in the entire park. The inn is characterized by its stone and log construction – in fact, it’s the world’s largest log structure – and the huge stone fireplace that sits within the Old Faithful Inn’s towering lobby. There are eight different types of accommodation to choose from at the inn, which is also a great jump-off point for some of the park’s incredible sites and attractions such as the Firehole Basin Adventure.
