Review:

The Historic Lowry House is one of Huntsville's oldest preserved historic buildings, originally constructed in 1832 by prominent area settlers on the remains of an older 1809 log house.

The venue was completely restored in 1998 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. Today, it is open to the public as a living history museum and private special event rental space for events such as wedding ceremonies and receptions.

Couples can hold ceremonies on the venue's beautiful manicured grounds, which have been awarded Huntsville's Beautification Award several years in a row.

Its interior spaces can host up to 250 for receptions, offering bride and groom suites, an upstairs balcony porch, five spacious downstairs rooms, and a full catering prep kitchen.
