Review:
Burritt on the Mountain is a gorgeous open-air museum in Huntsville, located atop picturesque Round Top Mountain on a plateau connected to nearby Monte Sano Mountain.
The venue is anchored around the 1930s-era home of physician William Burritt, who deeded his home and estate to the city for use as a special event venue following his death in 1955. 12 19th-century buildings have been preserved on the estate park's grounds, including the National Register of Historic Places-listed Joel Eddins House.
Couples can marry within several of the venue's buildings or have their ceremony at its outdoor gazebo, which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape. Cocktail and seated receptions can be held at Baron Bluff.
