Paul M. Grist State Park is a phenomenal 1,080-acre park at which visitors can enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on the 100-acre lake. It’s the perfect place for a day-trip as the surroundings views are absolutely stunning and there are so many amenities to make your visit more comfortable.

There are pavilions with picnicking facilities and barbecue grills available for rent; these are great if you’re planning a family reunion or any other special event.

You can also explore the surrounding forest by hiking or biking through the 15+ miles of trails which are available at the park. You’re sure to come across an array of flora and fauna during your adventure such as white-tailed deer, Eastern wild turkey, and a variety of waterfowl and song birds.
