Mad Malts Brewing was formerly known as the Brew Stooges, rebranding in 2015 due to the former company name’s similarity to the popular Three Stooges vaudeville comedy team. Today, the brewery serves its classic brews under brand-new names, including popular brews such as its Agaric Amber Ale, Double Cherry Sour, Harvest Yam Ale, Oked Double Rye, and Pumpkin Madness. Its Huntsville tap room is open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, offering a variety of year-round, seasonal, and one-off exclusive brews for pints and tastings. The brewery’s beers are also tapped at a variety of restaurants and bars throughout the Huntsville region.
