Ghost Train Brewing Co. was established in 2014 by former Cahaba Brewing Company partner Taylor DeBoer. Since 2015, the brewery has sold their unique bottom-fermented lagers, such as their Go-Devil Golden Ale, Dark Ride Belgian Strong Ale, Switchman’s Stash India Pale Lager, Ghost Train Craft Lager, and Terminal Station Brown Ale. In October of 2016, the brewery’s taproom was opened at the former Cahaba Brewing taproom site on Third Avenue in Birmingham. Today, the taproom serves the brewery’s year-round beers, along with a series of weekly one-off small batch brews and craft spirits. Public special events offered at the taproom include food truck nights, live music performances, and trivia events.
