Why go all the way to the UK to see Stonehenge, when you can see a full-scale fiberglass replica right in Alabama known as Bamahenge? It is the work of artist Mark Cline, who’s initial “Foamhenge” in Virginia caught the eye of Alabama billionaire George Barber. The billionaire commissioned the work, which is an exact replica of the real thing, right down to the summer solstice and the orientation of the stones to the sun. The billionaire commissioned many other works from the artists, many of which you can see while on the private property, including four life-sized dinosaurs along the edge of the woods and a 50-foot woman floating in a lake.
