Review:

Back Forty Beer Company gets its name from an old term in agriculture that refers to the forty acres of land located furthest from the barn. The back forty acres of land were historically the most difficult to maintain and end up being overlooked due the remote location. The state of Alabama is similarly viewed as a wasteland for America’s craft beer. Since light beer is a more popular drink in the South, the craft beer market in Alabama has largely been ignored. Back Forty produces several different beers, and donates to local charities trying to change The Deep South’s cultural landscape.
