Part of the Prellwitz family farm, Vines & Rushes Winery has a five-acre vineyard, a modern wine-making facility, and a charming tasting room built from salvaged barn wood. Both red and white grapes are grown on the property and used to make special estate wines, and the winery sources as many of the other grapes it uses from Wisconsin vineyards as well. The tasting room is open every day of the week, and special events like live music and wine pairing dinners often take place in the evenings. The winery also has a wood-fired pizza oven, which is fired up on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
