The museum’s galleries are housed within four railroad boxcars with entertaining exhibits on various topics. Also found in the Youth Museum is a Planetarium, which introduces children to visible planets and key constellations, and the Mountain Homestead, which is a recreation of a typical Appalachian frontier settlement. Group tours may be booked ahead of time.
