When I wanted to escape with someone special, I found that botanical gardens offered the perfect setting. With blooming backdrops, peaceful paths, and quiet corners, these gardens gave us the chance to slow down and just enjoy each other—and I think you’ll feel the same kind of magic.
Highlights:
- Stroll through the Japanese Garden and rose-filled paths at the Chicago Botanic Garden—I did, and it felt like we were in our own fairytale.
- Wander under moss-draped oaks and tropical blooms at Bok Tower Gardens in Florida. I still remember the peaceful hum of the carillon—it’s so enchanting, you’ll want to linger.
- Share quiet moments by koi ponds and waterfalls at Portland Japanese Garden. I found it to be one of the most serene spots I’ve ever visited, and I bet you’ll love it too.
- Explore meadows, forests, and floral displays hand-in-hand at Longwood Gardens. I wandered for hours and didn’t want to leave—this place truly has a way of bringing people closer.
- Discover desert romance at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. I was surprised by how beautiful and romantic cactus country could be—especially at sunset. You’ve got to see it for yourself.
