Mercato Ristorante is an upscale, elegant Italian restaurant in downtown Olympia serving fresh, made from scratch Italian food since 2002. While beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated, Mercato is friendly and relaxed, perfect for business lunches, family dinners or romantic meals for two. The menu is fairly small but exquisite, with traditional Italian dishes with chef’s own interpretation such as Prawns Caprese with prawns wrapped in prosciutto, with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes and fresh basil, or Gnocchi with smoked duck, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, balsamic vinegar and fried egg. The wines are Italian and from the Northwet, beers are local craft and cocktails are imaginative and generous.
