This authentic bathhouse dates back to the early 20th century, when it was a getaway for those looking to relax and soak in the hot springs for medical, spiritual, or recreational purposes. The tradition, called ‘taking the waters’, is still in full practice today at Carson Hot Springs Golf & Spa Resort, which has a mineral therapy pool for adults and claw foot tubs in its 1930s bathhouse, and guests can soak in the natural mineral waters in both of these places for a refreshing experience. The resort is also home to an 18 hole, par 71 golf course, which offers a challenging and fun game of golf for beginners as well as the more experienced.
