Established in the year of 1993, World of Mirth got its start as a funky novelty and vintage shop that was determined to deliver a unique shopping experience as an alternative in a world filled with mainstream shopping. This happy place of a toy shop is located on West Cary Street, within the Carytown district of Richmond, Virginia. Some have described it as a one-of-a-kind space where Pee Wee’s Playhouse meets Dr. Seuss. Many of the toys within the store appeal to children, as well as the inner child within most adults. Some fan favorites include Cards Against Humanity, Red Planet Robot, and Squirrel Stud Earrings.
